What would you do as a Architectural Drafter

As a Full-Time Architectural Drafter at Fox Cities Builders, you'll be the mastermind behind creating detailed and full-scale designs using CAD software like AutoCAD and REVIT. To thrive as a Full-Time Architectural Drafter at Fox Cities Builders, you'll need an extensive toolkit of skills! Mastery of CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and REVIT, is essential for crafting those eye-catching designs. While previous experience in 3D renderings is a plus, what truly sets you apart will be your excellent verbal and written communication skills, allowing you to collaborate seamlessly with architects, engineers, and sales professionals. A strong analytical mindset will help you tackle any challenges that arise, while a solid knowledge of the construction industry and sub-contractor trades will keep your designs grounded in reality. Lastly, an Associate's degree in Drafting, Architecture, or a related field, along with a Revit/AutoCAD Certificate of completion, will provide the foundation you need to shine in this role.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Extensive knowledge of CAD (ex. AutoCAD/REVIT) software and other architectural drafting tools, or equivalent experience is required.


• Previous experience in 3D renderings is preferred.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Knowledge of the general construction industry and the sub-contractor trades.


• Associates degree in Drafting is preferred


• Architecture or similarly related study required.
