Job Description - Architectural Project Manager

Gauzy (NASDAQ: GAUZ) is a world-leading material science company, focused on the research, development, manufacturing, and marketing of vision and light control technologies that support safe, sustainable, comfortable, and agile user experiences across various industries.

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and detail-oriented Architecture Projects Department Manager to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing architectural projects from concept to successful delivery. These projects include the integration of Gauzy’s smart glass and control systems into building façades, interior partitions, and custom architectural applications—working closely with architects, façade consultants, contractors, fabricators, and glaziers. The role requires deep technical understanding, strong coordination abilities, and a proactive approach to client needs, ensuring projects are executed to the highest standards.

You will oversee the work of installers and project managers within the Architecture Projects Department, supporting execution across multiple regions, and playing a key role in defining operational standards and best practices.

Gauzy’s Architecture Business Unit delivers cutting-edge smart glass solutions that redefine privacy, shading, and display integration in the spaces where we live, work, and connect. Join a global team of innovators shaping the future of glass and light.

  • Lead and manage architecture-focused projects involving smart glass integration in façade systems, partitions, and specialty installations.
  • Supervise and support a team of installers and project managers, including task allocation, problem-solving, and mentoring.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, Operations, R&D, Support, Finance) and external stakeholders (architects, façade engineers, contractors, glaziers, etc.) to ensure project alignment and success.
  •  Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, installation quality, rework rates, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure structured execution methodologies, process standardization, and adherence to company project management protocols.
  • Manage day-to-day communication with suppliers (glass manufacturers, aluminum contractors, fabricators, etc.) to ensure timely delivery, quality, and payment coordination.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for clients and internal teams regarding architectural project delivery.
  •  Support global project execution by aligning standards, providing guidance, and occasionally traveling to oversee critical phases or installations.
  • Provide regular reporting on project status, risks, and departmental performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in project management or a related field – required.
  • Experience with international clients and multi-stakeholder projects
  • Strong understanding of processes, system integration, risk mitigation, and project KPIs.
  • Experience managing architectural/construction projects – an advantage.
  • 3 years of leadership experience– an advantage.
  • Background in a technological or industrial company (preferably in the construction, glass, or smart building industry) – an advantage.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, ClickUp, Monday, MS Project) – advantage.
  • High proficiency in English – spoken, written, and reading.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to see the big picture.
  • Service-oriented approach with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset.
