What is an Area Relief DSP? As an Area Relief DSP, you’ll step in where you’re needed most, covering shifts at various locations to ensure uninterrupted support for the individuals we serve. Your flexibility and willingness to work in different settings will make a meaningful impact!

What You’ll Do as an Area Relief DSP:

• Assist individuals with daily living skills, personal care, and medication administration.

• Follow individualized care plans and adapt to different program environments.

• Foster social engagement through recreational and community activities.

• Ensure a safe, comfortable, and inclusive home environment.

• Advocate for the rights and well-being of individuals served.

What We’re Looking For:

• A flexible and adaptable mindset – comfortable working at different locations as needed.

• Minimum of 1 year of prior experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

• Ability to pass a national background check.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist with mobility needs when necessary.

• Valid driver’s license - this position involves driving as part of the job duties. Applicants must meet the requirements to be an approved driver, including a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
