The Area Sales Manager is responsible for the sale in their respective territories of the Company’s products and reach internal sales goals. They are also responsible for building positive relationships with practitioners and staff. This position will also contribute to developing and implementing sales strategies aligned with Company positioning and messaging.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move Sofwave’s capital equipment for the purpose of transportation to and from customer sites. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. The employee must be able to travel to and from customer sites, sometimes on short or no notice, and occasionally within tight timeframes. Thus, having ready access to a reliable personal vehicle, possessing a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance, are required and employees must be able to provide Sofwave proof of a valid driver’s license and maintenance of automobile insurance upon request. Failure to provide the same upon request, or misrepresenting an employee’s possession of those items, may be grounds for discipline, up to and including termination.
