Job Summary


The Area Service Engineer is responsible for managing and supporting all authorized service centers within the assigned region. The role focuses on ensuring consistent service quality, technical support, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and compliance with company service standards.


Key Responsibilities



  • Monitor and support the daily operations of all authorized service centers within the assigned region.

  • Conduct regular visits to service centers to ensure compliance with company policies, service processes, and quality standards.

  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to service technicians and workshop teams.

  • Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints and escalate critical issues when required.

  • Coordinate with service center managers to improve workshop productivity, service quality, and customer satisfaction.

  • Monitor spare parts availability and coordinate with relevant departments to minimize downtime.

  • Conduct service audits and prepare inspection reports with recommendations for improvement.

  • Organize technical training and skill development programs for service center technicians.

  • Monitor warranty claim processes and ensure compliance with company warranty policies.

  • Analyze service performance, identify improvement opportunities, and submit periodic reports to management.

  • Maintain effective communication between the company and authorized service centers regarding service updates, technical bulletins, and new product information.

  • Ensure all service centers follow safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.


Requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in automobile service operations or workshop management.

  • Experience working with authorized service networks is preferred.

  • Strong technical knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and service management systems.

  • Valid two-wheeler driving license.

  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
