JOB TITLE: Arena Operations Manager Booking & Sales
ORGANIZATIONAL UNIT: FireLake Arena
SUPERVISOR: General Manager
FLSA: Exempt
Starting Salary: $35,568-$40,000
ALL FULL TIME POSITIONS: Your salary also includes Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance. The Biweekly deduction from employee paycheck is $40.00 for Employee Only, $95.00 Employee plus Children, $120.00 Employee plus Spouse, $140.00 Employee plus family.
JOB SUMMARY:
Plan and coordinate special events, concerts, entertainment, conferences, banquets, and other related attractions for Firelake Arena.
Manages and coordinates all aspects of the event ticketing operations of live entertainment events including box office and ticketing personnel, event creation, ticket generation, order sales and support, and preparation of audit statement.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Schedule related activities and facilities relative to the events with clients including sales quoting and contract preparation for confirmation.
· Consult with all involved parties to establish goals, services required, and fee schedules. Prepares and maintains any required documentation.
· Manage sales, ticketing, and personnel functions of the box office and ticketing operation. Make quick decisions to resolve potentially complex issues relating to customers, personnel, and the operation.
· Coordinating ticket operations prior to and during live events. Will be required to be present for all or most events to ensure smooth operations.
· Generate performance reports detailing ticket sales, event attendance, and other operational related reports to provide consultation or expert advice to management.
· Be responsible for Concession sales cash management including point of sale pricing, cash & credit card management and setup while coordinating with Food & Beverage personnel for event operations.
· Arrange guest accommodations, tours, banquets, receptions and other applicable conference activities.
· Provide on-site coordination including problem-solving and decision-making.
· Prepare and provide post-activity evaluation data, as appropriate to the objectives of the position; prepare scheduled and special reports as required.
· May perform a variety of administrative functions including data management, accounting and correspondence.
· Act as liaison to Area Managers/Supervisors to ensure all details are clear and understood..
· Perform all other duties and projects as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 2+ years experience or training in event coordination or related field.
• Computer and Arena Specific software skills required.
• Computer document management and manipulation required.
• Broad business perspective; commitment to integrated teamwork in decision making combined with disciplined prioritization.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• The Arena’s primary hours of operation are Nighttime, Weekend, and or Holiday dates and hours and as such you are expected to be scheduled at these times as a condition of acceptance of employment with the Arena.
• Sitting or standing for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking hearing and visual acuity.
• Frequent lifting (up to 50lbs).
• Occasional lifting (up to 75lbs).
WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Normal office / entertainment venue environment.
• Fast paced atmosphere.
