Description:

The A’s are currently seeking a seasonal Groundskeeper located in Mesa, Arizona. This position will report directly to the Head Groundskeeper.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining Hohokam Stadium and Fitch Park Baseball Complex to the level of a professional playing field in accordance with the Major League Baseball standards and regulations.


• Perform maintenance activities at the Hohokam Stadium and Fitch Park Baseball Complex.


• Mowing, edging, and warning track maintenance.


• Pre and post-game field maintenance.

Required Qualifications:

• Knowledge and experience in sports turf and baseball maintenance.


• Knowledge and experience in irrigation, and fertilization practices for sports turf.


• Knowledge and experience in running heavy machinery including tractors, mowers, etc.


• Applicant should be able to lift 50 lbs.


• Applicant must be able to work flexible hours including nights, holidays, and weekends.


• Applicants must be 18 years or older.
