Job Description:
DF Security LLC is currently hiring experienced and professional Armed Security Officers for retail locations in Miami Beach. We are looking for candidates who are dependable, alert, and demonstrate strong customer service skills. Bilingual candidates, especially those fluent in Spanish, are strongly encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and guests with professionalism, courtesy, and respect.
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises to ensure a visible and secure environment.
- Monitor entrances and exits for unauthorized individuals.
- Inspect buildings, equipment, and access points according to site-specific protocols.
- Remain alert and observant throughout your shift.
- Prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Document all activities, incidents, and observations in detailed security reports.
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations and notify supervisors as needed.
- Request emergency assistance from law enforcement or medical personnel when necessary.
- Be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by site supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid Florida Class G Security License.
- Prior security experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable using computers and smartphones.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and patrol on foot.
Preferred:
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred to support communication with our diverse customer base.
