Arrival Artists Seeks Festivals Associate

Arrival Artists is an independent music booking agency born in 2020 out of the most unlikely of scenarios. Its six founders, all long time friends and colleagues, seized an opportunity to create a home that champions art above all else and a team-based company culture that is inclusive from top to bottom.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Festivals Associate will work closely with the Festivals and Artist Agents team to craft and execute festival strategy as well as coordinate logistics surrounding our artists’ fest announces.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the agent with targets, deal negotiations, and announces/poster approval


• Pitching the Arrival Roster to secondary and tertiary festivals as determined by the Festival Agent


• Maintaining database information for festival dates/status, offers, artists and pitches.


• Liaising with festival buyers for information about their festivals and announce dates


• Assisting in preparing festival pitches and strategy


• Attending and taking notes on festival buyer and agent calls.

Ideal candidates possess the following:

• The ability to manage several concurrent projects with an aptitude for detail and effectively reprioritize tasks as needed, in a high volume and time-sensitive environment


• Excellent communication skills


• An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Excel and Word; as well as basic accounting and geography a plus


• A healthy sense of self-motivation, strong organizational skills and a professional manner


• 2+ years of experience working in talent buying or tour booking, at a record label, or in music management

The ability to thrive in an open and collaborative office environment and a passion for music are essential.
