Job Description - Arrowhead Travel Plaza Facility Maintenance
WAGE RANGE: $16.00-$25.00 DOE.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Ensures internal/external customer satisfaction through prompt, efficient, and friendly service.
Performs repairs to facility structure or building modifications assigned by supervisor for mechanical, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and appliances, as necessary.
Performs scheduled maintenance of equipment, weed eater, UTV, lawnmower, pressure washer, and fuel related equipment with documented reporting when necessary.
Performs routine scheduled inspections of light bulbs, HVAC system filters, belts, and replaces routinely; once a month, or as needed.
Inspect and monitor all fuel-related equipment for operational efficiency and working conditions. Clean, adjust and repair as appropriate.
Communicate in detail verbally and/or written with repair companies and if necessary, coordinate scheduling.
Promotes public and employee safety by ensuring walkways and parking lots are free from tripping and weather hazards, equipment works properly, with maintenance practice that avoids exposure to chemicals or other hazards.
Maintain clean, safe and organized work areas.
Maintain inventory and supply of utility equipment - light bulbs, filters, hoses, fittings etc.
Maintain grounds and landscaping by mowing and trimming as necessary to maintain a tidy and healthy appearance.
Controls weeds by spraying, pulling, and preventative maintenance as necessary in all lawn and landscaping including fence lines, ditches, etc.
Operates and maintains vehicles, motorized equipment, appliances, power or hand tools, and other equipment safely.
Maintain and repair underground sprinklers, control boxes etc.
Assists with operations requiring ladder, scissor lift or heavy lifting, including shelf display build and teardown.
Compliance with regulatory laws, WRC employee handbook, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc. including EPA.
Assists with station attendant duties as needed or assigned.
Computer use in Word, Excel, and email formats.
Obtain and maintain class level A/B UST Operator certification.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Three (3) years of work experience in building maintenance and repair.
Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues.
Demonstrates knowledge of landscaping, carpentry, machinery, and equipment regarding both use and maintenance.
High school diploma/GED or ten years’ experience.
Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication abilities by clearly providing instructions, responding thoughtfully to questions, and engaging with others in a professional and personable manner. Exhibits exceptional interpersonal skills and consistently maintains a high level of professionalism across all communication channels, including email, phone, and inâperson interaction.
Work history demonstrates dependability and a positive work ethic.
Work at elevated heights of 10 feet or more in tight or restricted areas, lifts and maneuvers up to 50 lbs. and work outdoors in adverse weather.
Process for evaluating the facility daily and throughout the shift, recognizing areas that need attention and prioritizing those assessments.
Ability to assemble and disassemble a wide variety of fixtures, displays and racks.
Basic computer skills in Word, Excel, and Email formats.
Flexible schedule to workdays, swing shifts, and weekends.
Maintain a clean, well-groomed professional appearance with high personal Hygiene standards.
Possess a valid driver’s license with no history of motor vehicle-related citation or arrest conviction(s) within the last five (5) years in any state per WRC insurance requirements.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Certified or licensed in electrical, plumbing, or other mechanical aspects.
