Art Director

Roblox is looking for a conceptually driven Art Director to join our Plus Brand Creative team and help shape how the brand shows up across social platforms. In this role, you’ll lead the visual direction of social-first storytelling that celebrates our platform, community, and creators.

You’ll concept and craft work designed specifically for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging social channels—creating content that captures the culture of Roblox and the creativity of millions who play, create, and connect every day. Whether highlighting new experiences, celebrating creator stories, or translating brand moments into engaging social narratives, you’ll combine strong conceptual thinking with sharp visual instincts and deep platform awareness.

This hands-on role requires a passion for internet culture, a strong sense of pacing and storytelling, and the ability to move quickly while maintaining a high bar for craft.

You Will:

• Lead concept-driven art direction for Roblox’s social channels, creating content designed for in-feed discovery and engagement.


• Concept and develop platform-native ideas across formats including short-form video, motion-driven graphics, carousels, memes, and community-driven content.


• Collaborate closely with motion designers, editors, copywriters, and marketers to bring social-first storytelling to life.


• Translate brand campaigns, launches, and cultural moments into compelling social content that resonates with the Roblox community.


• Help define and evolve the visual language of Roblox across social platforms while maintaining brand consistency.


• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure social content aligns with broader marketing and brand objectives.


• Maintain a high standard of craft across fast-moving, high-volume creative output.


• Stay deeply connected to platform trends, creator culture, and emerging formats to keep Roblox’s social presence fresh and culturally relevant.


• Present ideas clearly and confidently to internal teams and stakeholders.

You Have:

• 4+ years of experience in art direction or visual design, ideally focused on social, digital, or platform-native content.


• A portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual thinking and visual storytelling, with examples of social-first creative and short-form content.


• A strong understanding of composition, typography, color, and design systems applied to fast-moving digital environments.


• Experience collaborating with motion designers, editors, and cross-functional partners to produce engaging social content.


• Deep familiarity with social platforms, trends, and audience behaviors across channels like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.


• Ability to balance speed and craft while working in a high-volume creative environment.


• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate and advocate for creative ideas.


• A collaborative mindset and comfort working across teams to bring ideas to life.


• A passion for Roblox, the Roblox creator community, and gaming culture.
