ASC Nurse Manager

Description

Responsibilities:

• Assumes responsibility for updating knowledge of current polices and procedures, protocol and practices.
• Monitor patients during surgical procedures and provide support to the surgical team
• Administer medications and anesthesia as directed by the surgical team
• Develops and implements an adequate staffing plan, effective interview skills, and manages retention and turnover.
• Determines supplies, equipment and staffing are in place for successful operation of the department.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of practice
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Minimum of 2 years of management experience
• Knowledge of surgical procedures, medical equipment, and anesthesia administration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
