Your Impact
As the ASE Team Lead, you’ll own end-to-end delivery of AT&T projects—aligning scope, schedule, and budget while removing roadblocks and standardizing workflows. You’ll translate customer requirements into clear execution plans, keep internal/external stakeholders tightly coordinated, and use data to drive decisions. Your leadership will improve throughput, quality, and on-time delivery across outside plant (OSP) workstreams—ultimately strengthening customer trust and program performance.
Core Responsibilities
Program & Delivery Leadership
Lead large or complex AT&T project portfolios from kickoff through closeout; control scope, cost, schedule, risk, and change.
Build detailed work plans, milestones, and staffing plans; monitor job progress and rebalance resources to hit targets.
Enforce safety and quality standards; ensure all deliverables meet customer specs and internal policies.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
Serve as primary point of contact for customers and functional managers; communicate requirements, decisions, and risks.
Prepare concise status reports and executive-ready summaries for clients and leadership; escalate issues with clear options.
Data, Reporting & Systems
Maintain accurate data in internal and client systems; ensure timely updates to trackers and portals.
Use dashboards and KPIs to measure performance; identify/report system or reporting gaps and partner to implement new functionality.
Process Improvement & Issue Resolution
Proactively identify bottlenecks, inconsistencies, and defects; drive corrective actions and preventive measures.
Standardize and document procedures to improve efficiency, repeatability, and cross-team alignment.
Team Leadership
Forecast and secure resources; assign work, set expectations, and coach the team to meet or exceed goals.
Uphold schedule discipline, budget adherence, and rigorous QA across all assigned jobs.
Core Experience
Required
2–3+ years of project management leading multi-disciplinary teams in telecom, utilities, construction, or related fields.
Strong command of project controls (scope/cost/schedule), risk management, and change control.
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel (trackers, pivot tables, lookups); comfortable building/reading dashboards.
Proven ability to manage staffing, scheduling, quality assurance, and budgets across multiple concurrent projects.
Excellent organization, written/verbal communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable record; ability to pass pre-employment drug screen.
Self-motivated, able to prioritize and deliver under tight deadlines.
Preferred
AT&T program experience (processes, systems, deliverables, SLAs).
Knowledge of OSP activities: fiber cable design, pole line construction, conduit system design; familiarity with OSP standards.
Experience using internal/customer systems for project intake, tracking, and closeout; aptitude to define new dashboard/report needs and partner on deployment.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
