HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY

• Prepare and oversee production of menu items according to production sheets
• Develop production sheets for review and approval by Room Chef or Sous Chef
• Supervise and direct culinary staff to ensure adherence to recipes, procedures, and food safety standards
• Manage kitchen operations when the Room Chef is absent, including opening and closing duties
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen environment
• Coordinate with service staff and management to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Promote a professional and respectful workplace culture

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 5 years of food service experience in a similar role
• Supervisory experience required
• Formal culinary training preferred, but not required
• Solid knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
• Basic mathematical skills (measurements, fractions, percentages)

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical abilities
• Ability to interpret instructions, safety rules, and procedural manuals
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly
• Capable of standing, moving, and working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Exposure to varying noise levels, kitchen equipment, and second-hand smoke
• Requires visual acuity (close, distance, and peripheral vision)
