Job Description - Asphalt Tack Distributor Driver

Join Blount Construction Company, Inc. as an Asphalt Tack Distributor Driver and play a crucial role in our paving operations. We are seeking a dedicated individual who is passionate about delivering quality work in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain asphalt tack distributor trucks safely and efficiently.

Prepare and apply tack coat to surfaces as part of the paving process.

Monitor and adjust equipment settings to ensure quality application.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment.

Collaborate with crew members to ensure smooth operations on job sites.

Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on the job.

Maintain accurate records of materials used and work performed.

Assist with other construction tasks as needed to support the team.

Requirements:

Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) required.

Experience operating asphalt tack distributor trucks preferred.

Strong understanding of paving processes and materials.

Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physical environments.

Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Previous construction experience is a plus.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
