Job Title: Assembler Prepared By: Sr. HR Generalist

Department: Assembly Approved By: Director of HR

Reports To: Production Manager

Summary: Assemble parts, components, and hardware as per specified requirements in specific business unit.

Essential Function:

• Use hand and power tools to accurately assemble parts, components, and hardware per verbal and written instructions, including diagrams and blueprints
• Complete final inspection to ensure quality
• Assist with packaging, labeling and palletizing product when needed
• Adhere to business management system (BMS), as applicable
• Assist with any other duties as assigned

Basic Requirements:

Ability to read and understand instructions and other documentation

Knowledge of manual, electric, and pneumatic tools, other power/hand tools, including tape measure

Basic math, computer, and written/verbal communication skills

General manufacturing experience and knowledge of different materials

Basic mechanical aptitude and ability

Specific vision abilities, including distance, color, and depth perception

Physical Exposure:

Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, and lifting

Frequent lifting of up to 10 lbs

Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs

Frequent use of pneumatic/hand tools

Sharp edges on materials and packaging

Fork truck traffic
