The Assembler located in Ville Platte, Louisiana is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues. Together, we create amazing technology that unlocks access to energy for the benefit of all.\n\nThe Second Shift Assembler will assemble and test valves and components, partially or completely. Typically requires 2-5 years\u2019 experience.\n\n * Demonstrates a proven working knowledge of various assembling/testing principles. Tasks assigned require basic knowledge of concepts and procedures.\n * Demonstrates the ability to solve basic problems with assistance. Recognizes problems in assembling/testing process and reports to appropriate supervisor and/or lead person in a timely manner.\n * Ability to use and select the proper pressure gauges, pressure chart recorders and tools for valve assembly and testing.\n * Ability to understand assembly drawings, SPs, QPs, work instructions and tools and equipment needed to perform assembly operations with minimal assistance.\n * Ability to perform internal stenciling and/or marking for required traceability purposes.\n * Familiar with computer systems to retrieve relevant work documents such as engineering drawings, routings, and other documents as they relate to assembly and testing of valves or related products. \nDemonstrates a clear understanding of safety policies and procedures (Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Quest, etc.). Operates overhead crane and other capacity lifting equipment (forklift) safely (training provided).\n * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write and/or complete routine reports.\n * Ability to work in one or more specific areas of assignment with minimal assistance: Assembly, Testing, Valve Extension, Actuators, Painting, Pass to Stock.\n * Assemble components of all Product Lines. Select correct tools and fixtures.\n * Test assembled products. Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products.\n * Ensure ability to: read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent hand tools and rework techniques; operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies.\n * Create labor records for all transactions.\n * Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.\n * The compensation and reference to benefits for this role is listed on this posting in compliance with applicable law. The selected candidate\u0027s compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $18-$30 per hour.\n\n\n\nMinimum Job Qualifications\n\n * High School diploma or GED required.\n * 2+ years\u2019 experience in related field.\n * Graduate of Technical school or college.\n * Must have the legal right to work and reside in the United States without sponsorship.\n\n\n
