Additional information about the company can be found at WhirlpoolCorp.com. \n\n## This role in summary\n\n# 3rd Shift Assembly Opportunity\n\nLocation: Greenville, Ohio Facility\n\nThe starting compensation for this role is $21.00 per hour, plus an additional $1.25 hourly differential for the 3rd shift.\n\nRequirement: A resume submission is mandatory for consideration.\n\nThis position encompasses a wide range of production and specialized roles, including the assembly of components and sub-assemblies, machine operation such as loading, running, and mounting, as well as product packing, finishing, and salvage or repair work across various production lines including cell, conveyor, dryer, and commercial units. The Assembler operates various tools and equipment, strictly follows engineering blueprints and quality control standards, maintains a safe, organized, and efficient workstation, and is essential for maintaining production flow and ensuring the final product meets all specifications.\n\n## Your responsibilities will include\n\n * Assemble and install parts by hand or using tools/equipment.\n\n * Perform assembly of components, sub-assemblies, and final products using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment according to engineering blueprints.\n\n * Operate, load, and unload various production machines including mounting machines, light machines, and specialized equipment.\n\n * Execute electrical repair, salvage, and specialized wiring assembly to ensure product functionality and quality.\n\n * Conduct final packing, finishing, and quality checks on products.\n\n * Monitor equipment and finished products for quality control, troubleshoot minor issues, and perform relief/repair tasks as needed.\n\n * Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area, adhering to all safety protocols and production standards.\n\n\n\n\n## Minimum requirements\n\n * High School Diploma/GED\n * 18 years old or older\n * 6+ months of continuous manufacturing employment experience\n\n\n\n## Physical Requirements\n\n * Continuously stand or walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours per day)\n * Ability to frequently bend, squat, reach (over shoulder), twist/turn, push/pull, and lift up to 35 lbs.\n * Work may be performed on a moving/conveyor style production line or stablized workstation.\n\n\n\n## Why should you apply?\n\n * Up to 80+ hours of paid training\n * Up to 120 hours of paid time off (prorated based on start date)\n * Medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid holidays, and other benefits available immediately\n * Quarterly bonus opportunities! \n * Tuition reimbursement\n * Apprenticeship Program(s)\n * Career growth opportunities and development\n\n\n\nConnect with us and learn more about Whirlpool Corporation\n\nSee what it\u0027s like to work at Whirlpool by visiting Whirlpool Careers.
