Assembler

We are seeking an Assembler I to join our team at Emerson in Aiken, SC! In this role, you will work with the Assembly Supervisor and will be responsible for various operations within the Assembly department. You will be responsible for assembling, testing and packaging of valve or actuator components. • Transfer of components from staging area to assembly benches.
• Assemble valve or switch components per assembly procedures and/or operation sheets.
• Read and interpret gages, flow meters, and power supply read-outs in a manner to make simple judgment calls in quality.
• Perform the required testing, i.e., internal, external, mass spec, functionality, of completed valves, switches, and assemblies.
• Obey all safety rules and stop work if continuing is unsafe or will create an unsafe condition. Report all safety concerns immediately.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the lead or supervisor.
