Position Summary: 

Our Assembler is responsible for the precise assembly, testing, and inspection of electrical cables and connectors used in various industries, including aerospace, telecommunications, automotive, and oil and gas. This role requires a strong understanding of wiring schematics, technical drawings, and industry standards to ensure high-quality and reliable cable and connector assemblies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience: 3 years previous experience in cable assembly or a related field is required.


• Technical Skills: Knowledge of cable assembly processes and machinery


• Attention to Detail: Ability to inspect products and identify defects.


• Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills to address machine issues.


• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and work for extended periods.


• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with other team members.

Are You Our Next ACE?

• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications to assemble cables accurately.


• Measure, cut, strip, and terminate wires using specialized tools and equipment.


• Perform soldering, crimping, and splicing operations to secure electrical connections.


• Apply heat shrink tubing, shielding, and protective coatings as required.


• Conduct continuity, resistance, and insulation tests to verify cable functionality.


• Inspect completed assemblies for defects, ensuring compliance with industry standards 


• Document test results and report any discrepancies to the quality assurance team.


• Follow established manufacturing procedures and safety protocols.


• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring proper handling of materials.


• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve assembly processes.


• Supports QA functions in performing root cause analysis. Works with QA and Process Engineering to identify assembly tools, fixtures, and programs that are in need of repair, maintenance and/or calibration. Assists training and orientation of employees. 


• Provide honest feedback with respect to the role and the relevant processes.


• Establish communication channels with management, co-workers, customers, and vendors to ensure effective communication.


• Evaluate ways to reduce costs and streamline processes
