Assembler - 1st Shift

Eaton\u2019s AER FED Fluid Electrical Distribution division is currently seeking a Assembler - 1st Shift to join our team in Torrance, CA!\n\nThe core hours are 6 am - 2:30 pm.\n\nThe hourly rate for this position is $22.96 per hour.\n\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\n\u2022 Perform soldering and assembly abilities to IPC-610 Class 3 \u0026 J-Std-001 soldering requirements. \n\u2022 Be responsible for building complex electronic assemblies, terminal boards, printed circuit boards, and heat sinks. \n\u2022 Work from drawing assembly, bill of materials, special model sheet and other input documents. \n\u2022 Cross-train in different production areas as needed \n\u2022 Be able to use soldering and de-soldering skills to produce products. \n\u2022 Use measuring equipment, test equipment and hand tools as needed (air drivers, screw drivers, wrenches, presses, and other tooling fixtures). \n\u2022 Be required to read and interpret drawings, bill of materials, and blueprints. \n\u2022 Be make minor procedural decisions in soldering, fitting and other variances within the established guidelines of workmanship standards. \n\u2022 Receive detailed instructions on new assignments and limited instructions on routine work \n\u2022 Be able to match drawings to bill of materials \n\u2022 Perform visual and electrical checks \n\u2022 Be part of the team to maintain and support a safe, clean work environment. \n\u2022 Be part of facilitating ongoing continuous improvement in support of quality, productivity and growth objectives compatibility and safety of electrical systems.\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications: \n\n * High school diploma or equivalent required from an accredited institution.\n * Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
