Assembler - 2nd shift

The Assembler will be responsible for assemble, laps seats, sets and test product per manufacturer standards, completes test reports, seals and tags valves. THIS IS A 2ND SHIFT - 2pm - 10pm, M-F, overtime as needed.

·  Trim Teflon

·  Clean rupture disc and holder parts

·  Cut outside diameters of rupture discs

·  Spot weld components

·  Operate presses and other required equipment

·  Use co-bots and other automated and robotic equipment

·  Proof pressure and leak tests

·  Inspect completed rupture disc assemblies to verify that they conform to specifications

·  Assemble units and prepare them for shipping

·  Perform any listed essential functions in a high-volume repetitive manner when required

·  Utilize and supervise the performance of automated machines

·  Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing machine performance issues

·  Comply with company productivity and quality requirements

·  Operate forklift when and as needed

·  Perform other duties as assigned, based on workload and business need

EDUCATION:

·  High school diploma or GED

·  1-3 months work experience in a production environment.  Previous experience in a production position at CDC is preferred.

TECHNICAL/FUNCTION SPECIFIC:

·  Ability to read blueprints

·  Basic math and reading skills

·  Computer skills

·  Working knowledge of industrial equipment used to produce rupture discs

·  Ability to stay on task and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

·  Motor skills sufficient to successfully and safely use required tools and machinery

·  Ability to stand and/or walk for majority of scheduled shift, typically 8-10 hours per day, though possibly more when overtime is required

·  Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed

·  Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and safety shoes
