Eaton\u2019s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking an Assembler - 2nd shift. \n\nThe hourly rate for this position is $19.50 per hour.\n\nThe core hours are 3:30 pm - 2:00 am.\n\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nThe primary function of the Assembler, is to perform winding, assembly, complex and repetitive wiring, and to produce complete sub-assemblies, and final assembly of control equipment. Checks electrical / mechanical performance of completed assemblies. \n \nIn this function you will: \n\u2022 Works from drawings, engineering specifications, and manufacturing information to complete assembly and wiring of control equipment. \n\u2022 Determines necessary parts and material and prepares requisition to obtain parts and material from stock. \n\u2022 Prepares wire for assembly by cutting, stripping, and attaching terminals. \n\u2022 Route out, assembles, wires, adjusts, fits and modifies parts, components, and sub-assemblies to form completed control assembly. \n\u2022 May require lifting, bending, ladder work and other forms of movement. \n\u2022 Checks electrical / mechanical performance of completed assemblies to ensure conformance to Asheville Plant quality standards and makes necessary adjustments and alignment when required. \n\u2022 Executes engineering and customer changes and makes repairs as required. \n\u2022 Reports irregularities or equipment malfunctions to coach. \n\u2022 Maintains records as required. \n\u2022 Observes all safety and hygiene rules and regulations. \n\u2022 Maintains work area in a neat and orderly manner. \n\u2022 Other assignments as required. \n\u2022 Operator of power tools, including battery powered and compressed air.\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications: \n\u2022 Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
