Assembler (Avery Creek) - WKND Shift

Eaton\u2019s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking an Assembler (Avery Creek) - WKND Shift. This position is based at our Avery Creek, NC location. \n\nShift Hours: Friday - Sunday, 7am - 7:30pm\n\nThe hourly rate for this position is $19.50 per hour.\n\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nThe primary function of the Assembler, is to perform winding, assembly, complex and repetitive wiring, and to produce complete sub-assemblies, and final assembly of control equipment. Checks electrical / mechanical performance of completed assemblies. This department requires physical movement throughout the facility as it relates to mechanical assembly, and obtaining materials through kneeling, bending, squatting, and moving up and down ladders throughout the plant. \n\n \nIn this function you will: \n\u2022 Work from drawings, engineering specifications, and manufacturing information to complete assembly and wiring of control equipment. \n\u2022 Determine necessary parts and material and prepares requisition to obtain parts and material from stock. \n\u2022 Prepare wire for assembly by cutting, stripping, and attaching terminals/ Operate power tools, including battery powered and compressed air \n\u2022 Route out, assembles, wires, adjusts, fits and modifies parts, components, and sub-assemblies to form completed control assembly. \n\u2022 Check electrical / mechanical performance of completed assemblies to ensure conformance to Asheville Plant quality standards and makes necessary adjustments and alignment when required. \n\u2022 Execute engineering and customer changes and makes repairs as required. \n\u2022 Report irregularities or equipment malfunctions to coach and maintain records as required.\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nRequired Qualifications: \n\u2022 Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
