Assembler B - Vinyl Graphic Installer

JOB SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the production manager, The Vinyl Graphics Installer is responsible for all types of installs in the graphics department. He/she will be involved with vehicle wraps, color changes, decals, signage and window graphics. Knowledge of and experience with a wide range of vinyl is essential to the success of the Vinyl Graphics Installer. The Vinyl Graphics Installer may be required to operate computer cutting equipment and perform basic setup and design work to affect the custom jobs. Productivity and quality while maintaining a safe work environment is essential. The Vinyl Graphics Installer will take day to day guidance from the Manager and work closely with other team members. He/She will be expected to be self motivated to accomplish their tasks in a timely manner through proper time management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Installs graphic to flat interior and exterior surfaces including walls, windows, floors, and ceilings
• Wraps vehicles (partial or full wraps)
• Cuts and shapes the graphics to fit each surface, heating and applying graphics, disassembling, and reassembling products during the application, using proper adherence and cutting techniques during the application.
• Performs all necessary work to complete the installation; take photos of the work when completed.
• Works both indoors and outdoors and requires everything from physical labor to detailed artistic work.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Previous experience with laminating and masking vinyl is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with clients.
• Familiarity with vehicle types and sizes is advantageous.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or GED certificate; certificate or associate degree in automotive technology preferred.
• Previous experience as a Vinyl Wrap Installer or similar role.
• Proficiency in vinyl cutting and installation techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of vehicle types and shapes preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Physical stamina.
