The clerk will perform operations associated with the creation, kitting, and shipping of laser products. All work takes place in a team-oriented cleanroom. Responsibilities are subject to change dependent upon your personal experience/strengths and specific needs of Cutting Edge Optronics.\n\nIn this job, you will:\n\n * Package microelectronic products for shipping\n\n * Examine shipment contents and compare them with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy\n\n * Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock\n\n * Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand or power tools\n\n * Create manufacturing work orders using ERP system\n\n * Kit work orders and issue needed materials using ERP system\n\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * High School diploma or equivalent and 0 years additional education and/or related experience. \n\n * No clearance required to start\n\n * Excellent fine motor skills, including the ability to handle small, fragile materials using tweezers\n\n * Comfortable wearing full cleanroom attire\n\n * Good oral communication and interpersonal skills\n\n * Able to follow written operational procedures\n\n * Willingness and capability to learn new tasks\n\n * Strong excel and data analysis skills\n\n * Experience with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * 2-year technical associate degree\n\n * Experience with microscopes\n\n * Knowledge of optics and/or electronics\n\n * Six months to one year of relevant experience and/or training\n\n\n\n\nCurious about all the exciting developments with the Northrop Grumman Space Sector? Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
