Assembly Associate (Full-Time | First Shift - 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM)

The Assembly Associate is primarily responsible for assembling metal and plastic adjustable levers. Other duties include assembly of other products, creating labels for products and packages, and sorting and packaging of parts and inventory.

Essential Job Duties

• Assembly of adjustable levers and other related products
• Preparing labels and labeling of products
• Sorting/packaging parts for shipment and/or inventory
• Other duties within the department as assigned

Education/Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

Mathematical Ability

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
