RC Mowers is looking for a proactive and capable Assembly Line Lead to help us deliver innovative, high-quality robotic mowers that are transforming how work gets done on tough terrain.

We design and manufacture remote-operated and autonomous robotic mowers that solve labor challenges, improve safety, and redefine what’s possible for commercial landscapers and public agencies. As our Assembly Line Lead, you’ll help drive production forward every day while setting the tone for accountability, quality, and teamwork.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being on the floor, solving problems in real-time, and helping their team succeed. You won’t have direct reports—but you will have a meaningful impact as the first point of leadership on the line, supporting the Production Manager in meeting key production goals.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a full-time, onsite position based at our manufacturing facility in Suamico, WI. You’ll work side-by-side with a talented team of assemblers, troubleshoot issues as they arise, and help coordinate daily work to keep the line running smoothly and safely. You’ll lead by example, not title—and you’ll be trusted to represent the Production Manager’s expectations when they’re not present.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Work on the line and support production flow, ensuring tasks are organized, assigned, and completed


• Monitor progress and help the team stay focused and on track


• Answer questions, solve problems, and escalate issues to leadership when needed


• Spot-check work and reinforce our high standards for quality and accuracy


• Support cross-training and onboard new team members


• Reinforce safety, professionalism, and team-first culture every shift

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or production environment


• Proven ability to read and follow work orders, part specs, and assembly instructions


• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools


• Demonstrated ability to stay organized, communicate clearly, and adapt to changing priorities


• Comfortable using or learning basic systems like Word, Excel, and NetSuite


• Trusted team member who leads by example and takes initiative


• High school diploma or equivalent required

This role is essential to the flow and quality of our production. You’ll help ensure our robotic mowers are built right the first time—and that every team member on the line has what they need to do their best work. You’ll be a stabilizing force on a fast-moving floor, and a key contributor to the continued growth of RC Mowers.
