Assembly Line Roles - Builder & Kitter

Position Title: Builder or Kitter

Reports To: Production Supervisor

Shift: 6am - 2:30pm, Monday - Friday

About the Role

These roles will support our Framed and Frameless cabinet assembly lines.

What You'll Do

• Follow established production standards, safety guidelines, procedures, and rules.
• Safe lifting and precision use of tools.
• Builder: Check parts for defects before laying them out. Follow work instructions for installation using nails and staple guns.
• Builder: This position puts the jigs on the corner of the cabinet. Locates the blocks and spreaders and then attaches parts to cabinet using staple gun.   
• Kitter: Employee reads each tag to correctly gather and organize cabinet parts into assigned carts. Assigned carts with completed kits are then staged for other departments. 

Tools You'll Use

• Staple gun, hammer, tape measure, scanner, carts and other miscellaneous tools.

• English communication skills (reading, speaking, and understanding) to perform essential job duties such as following safety procedures, reading production documentation, and communicating with leads and supervisors.
• Manufacturing experience preferred (not required).

Work Environment

• Full-time onsite (Monroe, WA)
• Production floor in cabinet manufacturing company.  
• Environment varies in temperature and is loud (Personal Protective Equipment for hearing and vision is required). 
• Repetitive motion and standing are required for extended periods of time. 

Compensation / Benefits:

• Hourly rate $19-22 depending on experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities
• First 45-day success = $0.75 increase to hourly rate
