Eaton\u2019s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Assembly Team Lead - 2nd Shift. \n\nThe hours for this role are 1:45pm - 10:15pm\n\nThe hourly rate for this position is $31.46 with a $1.00 shift premium per hour.\n\nSalaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\n\u2022 Provide assistance as needed to the operators to improve the ability to meet quality and productivity standards. \n\u2022 Using the reports available, monitor the progress of projects on the production floor to ensure on time delivery to the customer expectations. \n\u2022 Provide feedback to management on the matters that impede the progress of management\u2019s objectives of providing a harmonious, safe and productive work environment. \n\u2022 Keep all work areas clean, organized and presentable. \n\u2022 Demonstration and support of compliance with all company guidelines, including safety, attendance, and punctuality. \n\u2022 Support supervisor in driving accountability across departments. \n\u2022 Maintain Visual Management communications boards. \n\u2022 Perform periodic 6s audits of various plant operations. \n\u2022 Communicate shift status to Production Management as well as opposite shift lead and Production Supervisors (if applicable). \n\u2022 Support continuous improvement of assigned area(s). \n\u2022 Other duties as required.\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications: \n\u2022 High School Diploma or equivalent or GED \n\u2022 Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without out company sponsorship, now or in the future. \n\u2022 No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Santa Ana, CA location. Active - Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.\n\nPreferred Qualifications: \n\u2022 Minimum of 2 to 5 years\u2019 experience in a manufacturing/operations environment preferred \n\u2022 Previous supervisory experience preferred \n\u2022 Lean 6S [5S + Safety] experience preferred\n\n## Skills:\n\n\u2022 Ability to adhere to company safety requirements \n\u2022 Attention to detail. \n\nWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
