Rate of Pay:            The salary range for this position in Sacramento, CA is $108,888 - $132,700 per year and this role may be eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties: Plan production operations, define workflow, and establish priorities and production sequences to meet project and interdepartmental requirements. Meet project targets for direct labor hours, schedule, and quality. Develop, monitor, and meet department budgets and business plans. Establish, monitor, and adjust manpower, applicable equipment planning and work-order sequencing to meet production demands. Facilitate positive communication with entire team on a regular basis to keep them informed of work status, department performance, process changes, and company policies. Develop and maintain appropriate KPIs along with benchmarks and targets that provide a clear indication of department performance, performance trends, and potential problem areas.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field and 36 months of experience in the job offered or in a Production Supervisor-related occupation. Position requires experience in the following: Technical drawings and welding symbols. Welding technologies including GMAW and GTAW. 3 years of experience working in the railway industry. Working with Lean/Sigma processes. Working with Health and safety regulations in the rail industry.
