Assembly Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the manufacturing, installation, and maintenance of vending machines. Your role is crucial in ensuring that all machines are built to meet our high-quality standards and operate efficiently. The ideal candidate is hands-on, enjoys working with mechanical and electrical systems, and thrives in a fast-paced production environment.

• Participate in the mechanical assembly of vending machines, including but not limited to framework construction, wiring, and installation of key components.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for assembly tasks.

• Gain a basic understanding of all vending machine builds, including components, assembly processes, and quality control (QC) standards.
• Engage in the mentor program with a Senior Technician for the first two months to receive hands-on training and mentoring.

• Ensure assembly tasks are completed within the expected timeframes and deadlines.
• Demonstrate punctuality and efficiency in completing assigned tasks while keeping high standards.

• Learn to identify and correct defects in the assembly process, working toward achieving 100% QC success rates at all times.

• Collaborate effectively with Senior Technicians and the wider workshop team to ensure smooth workflows and assembly line operation.
• Report progress and issues during monthly performance reviews, providing feedback and highlighting areas for improvement.

• Follow health and safety regulations within the workshop, ensuring a safe and organised working environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the assigned work area and ensure tools and equipment are used properly.
