Assembly Technician

Description

Job Summary: 

The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling magazines, packaging retail items, and handling small parts. In addition to core assembly tasks, this role includes training on laser engraving for retail products. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and eager to learn new technical skills. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Assembly & Packaging: 

· Assemble magazines with precision and efficiency. 

· Package retail products according to company standards. 

· Handle small parts assembly to support production needs. 

Laser Training: 

· Learn to operate the laser for retail items. 

· Follow proper setup procedures and ensure engraving accuracy. 

· Maintain engraving equipment and assist with minor troubleshooting. 

Process Adherence: 

· Inspect assembled items for defects or inconsistencies. 

· Ensure all packaged products meet quality and branding standards. 

· Follow safety protocols and company procedures for handling materials. 

Team Collaboration & Support: 

· Work with production and quality teams to meet efficiency goals. 

· Assist in process improvements to enhance workflow. 

· Maintain a clean and organized workspace. 

Requirements

Qualifications: 

Required Skills & Experience: 

· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow assembly instructions. 

· Willingness to learn and adapt.

· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 

· Basic mechanical or production knowledge (preferred). 

· Strong organizational skills and ability to work as part of a team. 

· Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
