Under the direction of the Production Manager, the Solution Assembly Specialist is responsible for assembling electrical control panels/pneumatic assemblies and associated components in accordance with work instructions, production orders, and company quality and ISO policies. This role requires effective communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to meeting production and quality standards. Each level builds upon technical and leadership skills to support the team's overall success.
Essential Functions
Perform mechanical, pneumatic, and small electrical assemblies per work instructions.
Read and interpret basic mechanical and electrical drawings/schematics.
Prioritize and manage multiple assignments to assemblies under pressure while maintaining specified quality tolerances and adhering to assembly and safety procedures.
Operate equipment such as wire cutters and label printers.
Operate cutting equipment while maintaining adherence to specifications.
Effectively communicate project needs and potential issues to the shop lead.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Experience, Education and Skills
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years experience in a similar assembly position is preferred
- Experience assembling electrical control panels and/or pneumatic assemblies is a plus
- Basic understanding of tools and components used in assembly
- Ability to learn and follow instructions for mechanical and electrical assembly
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
- Attention to detail
- This role requires the ability to use hand tools, operate mechanical equipment, move throughout the shop and lift up to 50lbs.
