Assembly Technician Electrical - Motion Solutions

Primary Duties:

• Create, build, test and install panels


• Build electrical panels to UL508A specification


• Build pneumatic assemblies to MFCP’s standards & drawing specifications


• Read and assemble per electrical schematics or drawings, blueprints, or work orders


• Assemble electrical subassemblies, control panels, wiring harnesses, circuit boards, and system components using hand and power tools


• Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to locate and correct faults or assembly defects


• Assist with IPS builds and installations


• Collaborate with other departments as needed

Basic Requirements:

• Must be able to read electrical drawings


• Must possess exceptional attention to detail to prevent miswiring or assembly defects


• Strong problem-solving ability to identify and resolve assembly or electrical faults


• Basic knowledge of tools & machinery such as, cut-off saw, drill press, automated tapping machine, grinder, hand tools, etc.


• High school graduate, associate degree, or some college preferred, and/or one-year related experience or training. 


• 1-3 years of relevant experience in electrical or electronic assembly a plus


• You must be over the age of 18 to apply.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and drive


• Job requires frequent lifting up to 70 pounds, stooping, reaching above shoulder level, pushing, pulling, constantly walking/standing on cement flooring, and climbing ladders as needed


• Work environment may include warehouse containing moving equipment, fluctuating temperature and inventory in various storage arrangements, office work, manufacturing, machine shops, agricultural operations

Salary:

$26-$30/hour, DOE
