Asset Management Analyst

Vancouver Housing Authority (VHA) is seeking an Asset Management Analyst to support the oversight and regulatory compliance of VHA's housing portfolio. This role is a great opportunity for a highly detail-oriented, organized, analytical, affordable housing professional who has experience with and enjoys working with financial data, reporting, compliance, and property information. 

The VHA works closely with local governments and other community partners throughout Clark County to address issues of affordable housing and homelessness and help families break the cycle of poverty. This role monitors property performance, maintains accurate financial and compliance information, supports audits and inspections, and coordinates required reporting that helps VHA protect and effectively manage its housing assets. 

Your skills and experience will contribute to our mission as you: 

• Track and analyze property, financial, compliance, and performance data across VHA's housing portfolio. 
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, dashboards, and property information summaries.
• Review financial statements and identify trends or issues for leadership.
• Support property inspections, audits, due diligence, and regulatory reporting. 
• Coordinate information for agencies and partners, including HUD, DOR, and other regulatory organizations. 
• Monitor rent changes, utility information, property registrations, licensing, and other compliance requirements.
• Maintain accurate property and asset records and support new properties and portfolio changes. 
• Work closely with property management staff, vendors, lenders, public agencies, and other partners.

Pay and Benefits

• In compliance with the Equal Pay & Opportunities Act, the full wage range for this position is $31.07 - $46.60 per hour. The starting salary is determined by the role's required qualifications and the candidate's relevant experience.  
• Full-time, non-exempt position that works on-site/in-office Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.
• We offer a generous contribution toward health care: 100% paid for employee only medical and vision coverage, 85% paid for dependent tier coverage. 100% paid for dental. 
• Up to 26 days of accrued paid time off annually in the first year (13 vacation/13 sick days), and 12 paid holidays. 
• This position is required to participate in Washington PERS (Public Employee Retirement Services). 
• Meaningful work that addresses affordable housing and homelessness in our community.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, law or legal studies, real estate and/or community development, plus at least 2 years related experience in asset and/or property financial management or related environment or equivalent. 
• Ability to read and comprehend legal documents including loan documents, contracts, tax credit partnership agreements, and bond compliance.
• Has or is willing to obtain the Asset Management Specialist (AMS) designation from the Consortium for Housing and Asset Management within the first year of employment.
• Property management in affordable housing experience is desired. 
• A valid driver’s license and meet VHA auto insurance requirements.
