We are seeking an experienced and motivated Asset/Rental Manager to oversee our rental fleet, manage equipment utilization, and ensure our customers receive outstanding service and value.

Key Responsibilities

• Fleet Management: Oversee the company’s rental fleet of forklifts and material handling equipment, ensuring optimal utilization, availability, and profitability.


• Rental Operations: Manage all aspects of rental contracts including pricing, scheduling, dispatching, and return inspections.


• Customer Service: Serve as the primary point of contact for rental customers, providing quotes, handling inquiries, and resolving issues.


• Asset Tracking: Maintain accurate records of all rental assets, including equipment location, condition, and service history.


• Logistics Coordination: Coordinate equipment deliveries, pickups, and returns with drivers and service teams.


• Maintenance Oversight: Collaborate with the service department to schedule preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections for all rental equipment.


• Financial Management: Monitor rental revenue, costs, and profitability; assist in budgeting and forecasting for the rental division.


• Compliance: Ensure all rental equipment meets safety, compliance, and operational standards.


• Process Improvement: Develop and implement best practices to maximize efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve customer satisfaction.


• Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales, service, and parts departments to support customer needs and company goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred (experience may substitute).


• 3+ years of experience in rental management, fleet management, or equipment operations (material handling or heavy equipment industry preferred).


• Strong knowledge of material handling equipment, forklifts, and rental processes.


• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.


• Strong customer service and communication abilities.


• Proficiency with rental/fleet management software, MS Office Suite, and reporting tools.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.


• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
