Position Title: Asset Manager, Commercial Properties
Company: Tavistock Development Company, LLC
Summary: Tavistock Development is seeking an Asset Manager with 3-5 years of experience in real estate finance, asset management, or a related field. The role focuses on managing various types of commercial real estate.
Essential Job Functions:
Work with property managers to optimize financial and operational performance of assigned assets.
Develop thorough understanding of the investment dynamics of each asset, including market fundamentals, lease obligations, capital improvements, financial performance and other relevant information.
Routinely review operating results, monitoring variances and providing investment recommendations of each asset.
Lead financial forecasting processes including budget development, cash flow forecasting, strategic planning and ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
Ensure accurate and timely information for quick decision-making.
Contribute to improve the asset management process; driving efficient, effective decision-making.
All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in real estate finance, asset management, or a related field.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or real estate; Master’s degree preferred.
Expertise in financial modeling, Excel and Microsoft suite of products.
Experience in designing and developing efficient financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities.
Experience with MRI and Spread Sheet Server systems preferred.
Comprehensive understanding of financial management and reporting to influence key decision-making.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, including proficiency in writing business reports.
Strategic thinker with a proven ability to effectively communicate with executive leadership; presenting clear and concise findings and recommendations.
Operates with the utmost standard of ethics and integrity.
Physical Requirements:
Must be physically able to perform assigned work.
Must be able to sit and use a computer as required.
Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
