Chickahominy Family Practice is seeking a dynamic Assistant Administrator to help drive excellence across our clinical and administrative teams. This is more than a management role—it's a chance to shape the patient experience, empower staff, and ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality care.

What You'll Do
As Assistant Administrator, you'll be the engine that keeps everything running smoothly. You will:
Lead and support daily operations across clinical and administrative teams
Hire, onboard, and train new team members
Develop job descriptions and optimize workflows for efficiency
Address and resolve staff concerns with professionalism and empathy
Conduct employee evaluations and manage performance documentation
Foster a positive culture through morale-building and retention initiatives
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity
Partner with providers to streamline patient care delivery
Lead staff and provider meetings and drive meaningful change
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and privacy standards
Manage patient experience by resolving concerns and improving satisfaction
Optimize scheduling to reduce wait times and improve flow
What You Bring
2–5 years of experience in medical practice or clinic management (required)
Strong leadership presence with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
Highly organized with exceptional multitasking abilities
A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
A calm, professional, and team-focused demeanor
