Job Summary:

This position oversees the development and execution of creative content for the Ole Miss football program. The incumbent will direct day-to-day operations; develop and implement strategies for promotional and recruitment purposes; and provide supervision and guidance to support staff. The incumbent will be responsible for evaluating and maintaining the overall efficiency of creative content operations.

Job Description:

Examples of Work Performed:
• Develops, managers, and partners to create multi-channel content plans to support the Ole Miss football program.
• Supervises and manages the Ole Miss football creative content staff.
• Develops best practices related to content and platforms to enhance the program's creative content.
• Advises on social media concerns and how to improve favorably.
• Oversees all recruiting content needs for the Ole Miss football program.
• Ensures a steady stream of content released from the program's social media accounts and recruiting content.
• Approves and monitors budgetary requests and expenditures for the Ole Miss football creative content area.
• Identifies opportunities to enhance products and services used to produce content and related materials.
• Provides guidance to support staff regarding the implementation of strategies and production of materials.
• Develops annual social media plan that impacts both the program's brand and recruitment needs.
• Leads content development for key themes within the program's social media content strategy.
• Collaborates with Ole Miss athletics creative production team with the coordination and sharing of captured content.
• Oversees corporate sponsorship fulfillment directly associated & partnered with the Ole Miss football social media platforms.
• Evaluates efficiency of staff and day-to-day operations.
• Ensures that all tasks are in compliance with University, SEC and NCAA rules and regulations.
• Performs similar or related duties as assigned or required.

Job Responsibilities:

These essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following. Additional essential functions may be identified and included by the hiring department.

1.    Oversees the development and execution of creative content for the Ole Miss football program.

2.    Develops and implements creative content strategies for promotional and recruitment purposes.

3.    Provides supervision and guidance to creative content staff and evaluates efficiency of operations.

Substitution Statement: An equivalent combination of related experience and education may be considered for this role. Substitutions of the required experience or education will be assessed on a 1:1 substitution basis.
