Job Description - Assistant Baker (Bagels)

Entry level position assisting the main Baker. Perfect fit would be someone looking for about 20 hours per week. Must be a morning person, and be able to stoop, bend and lift up to 50lbs. Dependability is a must.

This position is Friday through Sunday from 5:00am to 12:00pm.

“Who is Bo?” you ask? We’re the (Bo)wman’s...Mark, Leslie, Becca, Brett, and Julia and we’re just as obsessed with quality food and coffee as you are. In fact, after 40+ years living in HB, we decided to open Bo’s Bagels & Coffee to share the deliciousness with you. We strive to make your daily commute to the 55 FWY a tad sweeter because we know the daily grind can get a little brutal sometimes…

We love our local community and we want Bo’s Bagels & Coffee, our family owned and operated small business, to be your go-to neighborhood spot. With the help of our friends and family, we have created a menu to satisfy all of your family member’s cravings, our included.

Bagels are a mainstay at all of our family gatherings so it only made sense to make them a staple on our menu. We collaborated with our great friends, the Goldberg’s, to bring their drool-worthy NY style bagel family recipes here to SoCal.

We understand that bagels don’t always have a place in many diets out there today, so we’ve made sure to always have the freshest smoothies, greenest salads, gluten-free and vegan options, perfect for any health-nut (anti-health nuts will be equally obsessed).

Like all busy families, we run on equal parts oxygen and caffeine to get us through the day. La Colombe is THE favorite coffee in our household so it was a no-brainer that their beans would be the source for all of our delicious , caffeinated beverages. And for those people who aren’t plagued by the same caffeine addiction as we are, we’ve made sure to have the tastiest herbal and decaf teas.

But simply having the best bagels, treats and coffee isn’t enough for us. At Bo’s Bagels & Coffee we strive to create community through good food. We look forward to seeing you and being a part of your day.
