Job Description - Assistant Boutique Manager - Minneapolis

Our Minneapolis Boutique team is looking for a talented team member to support our successful boutique team as Assistant Boutique Manager.


 


We are seeking someone who has a passion for the bridal industry, customer service and can drive for sales to appoint into this role! This Full-Time role offers the right person the opportunity to take the next step in their career and be part of a growing global brand passionate about creating meaningful and memorable experiences!


 


This is a Full-Time role working 40 hours per week. Consistent weekend work will be required and we are looking for someone with open availability.


 


About the Role -


 


This role will ultimately support the Regional Sales Manager with providing exceptional customer service, delivering a strong individual and boutique sales performance and ensure boutique operations are met to the highest standard. The Assistant Boutique Manager will hold all on the ground leadership responsibilities in the Minneapolis Boutique. 



  • Consistently meet individual KPI benchmarks and monthly sales targets while assisting the boutique team in meeting all KPI benchmarks

  • Drive team sales and lead by example with providing exceptional bride experiences and exceeding personal sales targets

  • Conducting weekly sample cycle counts and monthly sample sale cycle counts.

  • Overseeing gown maintenance including dry cleaning expenses and inventory management

  • Completing weekly trade notes and reporting analysis in the support of the Regional Sales Manager 

  • Managing the cancellations list, waitlist, boutique booking and email account

  • Complete NetSuite (CRM system) audits for the boutique team

  • Support the Regional Sales Manager in coaching stylists and providing ongoing team training in product knowledge, selling techniques and NetSuite processes 

  • Prepare for product launches and facilitate team product training sessions as per the annual training calendar

  • Support with onboarding new Stylists

  • Assist the Regional Sales Manager with any leave requests and rostering

  • Handles operational requirements including repairs and maintenance, supply orders, sample care, and looks for improved efficiencies.

  • Supports with Local Networking/Connections & potential local Influencers.

  • Opportunity to attend local wedding market and industry meetings

  • Supports the RSM in addressing employee concerns and partners with P&C when appropriate

  • Provide insight and feedback for Boutique Management and relevant business departments

  • Manage the boutique booking email account, manage cancellations list and respond to queries in a timely and professional manner

  • Oversee Visual Merchandising as per brand guidelines and responsible for Inventory Listing and accuracy for Boutique Inventory

  • Act as a brand ambassador and always represent the brand with integrity and be a role model of appropriate behaviors in a leadership capacity

  • Responsible for security processes within the Boutique including the locking of the boutique and setting alarms/cameras as is specific to each boutique


 


Required Experience and Skills -



  • At least 1 year tenure with Grace Loves Lace

  • Proven track record in delivering exceptional customer service and achieving excellent sales results and KPIs

  • Recent and relevant experience within a leadership support role or similar role in a relatable industry

  • Experience in leading a team and providing training and instructional guidance as part of current development plan

  • Previous experience in sales with a strong focus on customer service

  • Ability to work individually and in a team to achieve objectives

  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, both written and oral

  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with our customers from the initial consultation to closing the sale, and head office team

  • The ability to learn quickly and retain information regarding new and existing styles

  • Hard working and dynamic personality with strong multi-tasking skills

  • The ability to lift & move boutique stock when required as well as stand for most of shift to facilitate bridal appointments

  • Highest standard of attention to detail

  • Able to work weekends and have the flexibility to take on extra shifts as needed

  • Intermediate level of Administration and IT skills specifically related to the use of a tablet, emails via Outlook and data entry
