Position Overview

Community Bank seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Branch Manager to join our team at Sage Capital Bank. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to effectively manage branch operations. As the Assistant Branch Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for consumer account customers and provide support to the Branch Manager in various operational and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage consumer account opening and maintenance for the branch by acting as the main point of contact for consumer account customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues to ensure exceptional customer service.
• Promptly answering branch phone calls to assist customers.
• Responsible for opening new consumer accounts and issuing debit cards. Handle account maintenance, including changes in ownership and updates to signature cards.
• Manage the teller line, approve schedules, oversee the completion of monthly audits (vault, lead teller, ATM), and supervise money shipments. Administer overrides and approvals up to $50,000.
• Conduct performance evaluations and reviews for tellers, providing feedback and guidance to enhance team performance.
• Serve as a backup to the Branch Manager in daily operations and take responsibility for ordering branch office supplies.
• Assist the Branch Manager with maintaining security cameras, implementing security measures, and ensuring compliance with procedures.
• Serve as a Notary Public to facilitate customer transactions.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of banking experience, with a solid understanding of teller functions and operations. 
• Some knowledge of various business entity organization and their banking needs. 
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and staff. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
• Ability to manage various tasks and prioritize effectively in a busy environment. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and banking software.
