Job Title: Assistant Branch Manager (ABM) I
Department: Service
Reports To: Branch Manager
Job Status: Non-Exempt
Primary Purpose: Help us create an effortless member experience that fosters loyalty and satisfaction.
What You'll Do: As an Assistant Branch Manager, you'll be the captain of our service team, guiding them to success with your leadership and expertise. Your daily adventures will include:

Identify members' financial needs and recommend products or services to improve their financial lives.
Resolve complex member issues with a smile.
Team Leadership:
Supervise, guide, and review the work of service staff.
Conduct regular staff meetings and provide ongoing training.
Coach staff on member cross-sell goals and NPS standards.
Operational Excellence:
Ensure workstations are properly staffed and available throughout the day.
Maintain maximum security over cash and negotiable items.
Perform periodic audits and notary services.
Branch Goals:
Achieve transactional and relationship survey goals.
Forecast cash needs and manage cash flow.
What We're Looking For:
Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of credit union products, services, and regulations.
Proficient in branch service principles and procedures.
Strong supervisory and coaching skills.
Excellent member service and interpersonal skills.
Decision-making and problem-solving prowess.
Computer skills (email, internet, word processing, spreadsheets).
Experience:
High school diploma or GED.
1-3 years as a Branch Service or Teller supervisor.
Lending or new accounts experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Light physical activity with frequent walking, standing, or sitting.
Manual dexterity for keyboarding and handling items.
Other Requirements:
Willingness to travel to branch locations as needed.
Reliable transportation.
Work Environment:
Well-lit, heated, and air-conditioned indoor office setting.
Moderate noise level.
Work Schedule:
40-hour workweek with occasional overtime.
Flexibility to attend meetings before or after scheduled hours.
