SEATED AT:         Virginia Avenue

REPORTS TO:     Branch Manager

The Assistant Branch Manager will assist the Branch Manager in providing leadership to the bank through efficient daily operations in all areas of banking service.

  • Responsible for representing the financial institution in public relations activities and community affairs.
  • Assist the team in efforts to reach profit, performance, and branch goals.

  • Manage daily aspects of the department and its staff to ensure projects are completed and goals and customer needs are met.
  • Assist in managing branch inventory. 

Analytical Thinker –

  • Ability to use technology and adapt to learn new processes.
  • Research and resolve customer account discrepancies.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide personnel management for branch staff.
  • Manage overall branch office operations.
  • Establish and helps to attain internal performance objectives for the branch office, which includes audits.
  • Assist in coaching employees when needed and coordinate staff training when needed.nch office..

  • Test branch security equipment and investigate security issues when needed.

Requirements

  • College degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • One to two years of experience in a financial institution.
  • Excellent customer service skills utilized for both internal and external customers.
  • Strong and positive verbal, and written communication, and supervisory skills.
  • Strong knowledge of banking regulatory matters and procedures for proper operation.
  • Ability to work well within a team, in shared roles, with flexible hours, including Saturday.
