The Covergirl & Sally Hansen Advocacy team is looking for a social-savvy creative thinker to support the brands’ social media and content strategies.  This individual will help manage day-to-day of brands’ social channels and will be responsible for building brand presence, engagement and audience growth through content that supports marketing and business objectives.

The ideal candidate combines strong creative abilities, digital fluency and trend awareness with analytical thinking and excels at adapting brand storytelling across channels and audiences. They should be an avid social media user with a deep understanding of what makes content resonate.  In addition, this individual must be highly organized, proactive, and confident collaborating cross-functionally.

As our Global Assistant Manager, Social Media & Content – CoverGirl & Sally Hansen, you are responsible for:

Your main focus:

1. Social Media Strategy Management

• Support the development and execution of social media strategies for Covergirl and Sally Hansen, ensuring alignment with overall marketing and commercial objectives.


• Own and manage the social media content calendar across all key platforms with focus on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.


• Help define platform-specific growth strategies to increase reach, engagement and community growth.


• Monitor platform trends, emerging formats, algorithm changes, and competitor activity to keep content innovative and best-in-class.


• Manage publishing schedules, approvals, and day-to-day social media operations.

2. Content Creation & Brand Storytelling

• Develop monthly and weekly content calendars. 


• Create engaging, high-quality organic content including short-form video, campaign assets, and editorial storytelling that aligns with the brand tone of voice, visual identity, and content strategy.


• Manage end-to-end content production from concept development through execution and reporting.

• Identify opportunities for reactive, trend-led, and culturally relevant content.


• Manage seasonal brand toolkit inputs and updates to brand asset portals.  

3. Launch Campaigns

• Support the planning and execution of integrated campaign plans that align organic social, influencer activity, content, paid media, and PR initiatives.


• Partner closely with the brand & commercial marketing and Consumer Engagement teams to support product launches, seasonal campaigns, partnerships, and other business priorities.


• Lead the coordination and implementation of contests, giveaways, and other promotional activities. 


• Support paid social teams with content recommendations and campaign optimisation insights.

4. Analytics & Reporting

• Track, analyze, and report on social media and content performance using platform analytics and reporting tools.


• Deliver regular insights and actionable recommendations to improve engagement and reach.

5. Team & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Support influencer marketing teams capturing content at influencer and other brand events.


• Liase with product marketing, legal and commercial teams for content alignment.


• Partnering with Assistant Community Manager-to engage with our online community, fostering relationships, and encouraging audience participation. 


• Contribute to wider brand and marketing strategy discussions.

We’d love to see candidates who have:

Essential

• 4-year bachelor’s degree.


• 2-4 years of experience managing brand social media or digital content.


• Solid understanding of social media platforms, best practices, trends, native tools and platform analytics.


• Proficiency in shooting and editing with mobile tools and CapCut.


• Familiarity using social scheduling and analytics tools (e.g. Sprinklr)


• Excellent copywriting, storytelling, and communication skills with attention to detail and grammar.


• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage tight deadlines and multiple priorities.


• Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategy.


• Strong understanding of content trends, digital culture, and evolving digital/social behaviors.

Desirable

• Experience in lifestyle, fashion, beauty, hospitality, consumer, or premium brands.


• Basic understanding of paid social and performance marketing.

Base Salary: $75,000-$90,000K
