Olgam Life is looking to hire an Assistant Center Manager to support our Plasma Donation Centers in Queens and Brooklyn, NY
Olgam Life is a plasma donation service offering state-of-the-art treatment of donors while
providing life-saving resources for the medical industry. Our commitment to the highest
standards is absolute, from the time the client walks in the door to the moment the plasma
leaves our facility. Olgam Life focuses solely on the aggregation aspect of the donation
process, enabling us to focus more closely on the care our donors receive.
Hours are from 5:00 am to 2:00 pm and/or 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm - rotating shift
Days off: Saturday and one other weekday
Paid on-the-job training
Salary range: $70,000 to $75,000 per year
Benefits start immediately
Bonuses are paid throughout the year
Purpose and Role:
This position is responsible for direct oversight and day-to-day operations of an Olgam Plasma Center location. The Assistant Center Manager will ensure the center functions in a manner that achieves operational, compliance, and regulatory objectives as determined by Olgam Life.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- In alliance with Center Quality, it maintains a state of compliance, ensuring the center remains audit ready.
- Manages the center budget to align with forecasted targets.
- Drives Key Performance Indicator (KPI) goals to meet production and quality performance measures.
- Manages the development and growth of center personnel to ensure expansion of knowledge and competencies related to the operational activities of the business.
- Has ultimate oversight of all center processes, including but not limited to production flow, facility maintenance, equipment maintenance, supply and inventory management, employee relations, customer complaints, compliance and regulatory programs, training programs, product management, and medical management.
- Leads center-specific projects to ensure all requirements are met.
- Maintains skills in all technical/production areas of the center.
- Conduct New Hire Orientation as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by operational Leadership
Requirements:
- S./B. A degree is required. Also, acceptable educational requirements include a degree or Certificate in Business Management or Organizational Development. Education may be substituted for experience as described below.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a people manager or supervisor is required
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a regulated environment is preferred
- Must be able to work independently with minimal direct oversight.
- Able to evaluate and interpret regulations and recognize the need for appropriate changes related to business operations.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Professional communication and the ability to inform and report appropriately to executive leadership
- Scheduling flexibility to ensure appropriate center support and coverage
- Ability to execute multi-step technical driven tasks
- Ability to travel up 25% as needed
- Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for a minimum of 8 hours in a scheduled workday.
Education:
A B.S./B. A. degree is preferred
A high school diploma or equivalent is required
