Our client, a leading healthcare system, is seeking an experienced Assistant CFO to oversee financial operations and provide strategic financial leadership. Located in Gallatin, TN, just 30 miles from Nashville, this pivotal role will be responsible for managing the hospital’s financial functions, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports, and leading a dynamic finance department. This role also includes managing the hospital’s investments, overseeing budget preparations, and coordinating audits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all financial operations, including revenue control, expenditure management, and budget preparation.

• Oversee the preparation of monthly financial statements, annual audits, and operating budgets.

• Lead financial reporting to ensure compliance with governmental and third-party regulations.

• Guide cash forecasting and decision support system implementations to enhance financial performance and institutional value.

• Collaborate with department heads to prepare operating budgets and monitor reimbursement methodologies to assess their impact.

• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data and processes within the finance department.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master's degree and CPA certification preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of for-profit hospital finance experience.

• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare financial management role.

• Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to work independently under pressure.

• Proven leadership skills and the ability to foster a professional growth environment for the finance team.
