About the Role:

Join The Learning Experience #204 in Waldorf, MD as an Assistant Childcare Teacher, where you will help create a nurturing and engaging environment for young learners. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to support the growth and development of children while working alongside a passionate team dedicated to early childhood education.

Responsibilities:

Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and educational activities.

Engage with children in play and learning activities to promote development.

Support classroom management and maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment.

Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress and needs.

Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure safety.

Help prepare materials and resources for various educational activities.

Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; early childhood education coursework preferred.

Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Passion for nurturing and educating young children.

Background check clearance required.

Flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the center.

Compensation: $16.00 per hour
