You will ensure high-quality patient care, support team development, and promote a positive and safe work environment. This role includes leadership during off shifts and in the Clinical Manager’s absence.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support daily unit operations and act as a leader on off shifts or when the Clinical Manager is unavailable.

  • Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other departments to enhance patient care and team performance.

  • Manage staff scheduling, payroll, and performance evaluations.

  • Foster professional development by mentoring staff and working with Clinical Educators on training needs.

  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, clinical guidelines, and organizational policies.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of acute care nursing experience (5 years preferred). Prior leadership experience strongly preferred.

  • Licensure/Certification:

    • Current RN license in Maryland, or compact license with multi-state privilege.

    • BLS required; ACLS, PALS, NRP, or other unit-specific certifications within 6 months.

    • Professional certification in specialty area preferred.

  • Skills:

    • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

    • Ability to lead teams, coach for performance, and support accountability.

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records.

Why Join Us?

You’ll be part of a mission-driven team that values innovation, collaboration, and compassion. We invest in your growth and support your career development in a dynamic healthcare environment.
